Serena has become most well develop female character in any poke anime. I'm so glad how she mature she grown as she help Koharu. This episode has made me so tense. Wave of emotion Raging inside to the end. Finally they met.. Even if it were short! This was the most emotional in Joureny for me. I'm glad she's back and even surprise on how much she develop in many ways, also love her new outfit, which I had a hunch that if they show a Silvieon/Nymphia it would best be Serena's since she is the only one current to have one other than the Kalos region gym leader or they would show a different new character with one.
Glad Serena reunion with Satoshi/Ash even though it was brief but rather sad that it was just that and shame they didn't bring up that kiss though.
Also glad to see her fire starter fully evolve but still sad Pancham hasn't though.

the reason pancham hasnt evolved is the lack of a dark type on her team as you need one to get pangoro, besides for her contests as nice as it would be for pangoro to be there, pancham still has that "cute" badass factor while pangoro doesnt at all, so not sure if pancham even should evolve

I found it funny that their was so much hype about her coming back but in true pokemon fashion it was a brief, non romantic reunion.

Serena really has become better from before though, her journey from hardcore ash simp to mature contest person is really good, however i still prefer dawn over serena, for various reasons, for now i just want may to return, its been 13 years, hopefully her va recovers

I will only watch this show when it is over so I was not watching it but was still making youtube searches and sometimes looking at the episode comments to see If Serena ever returns and the day has FINALLY come, The best PokeGirl has finally returned. Oh god I still can't believe after all this time my beloved Serena has made a return, yes it was short and I hope that She will return again but oh boy it was still glorious to see her again and with such a good design no less.

i started out with the gen 1 anime, so I will always be for pokeshipping!! But while i didn't like serena during the run of xy and xyz, this new look and not simping for Ash nonstop is a way better look for her then her original look, and she they do end up together whenever the anime ends, (probably when we are all dead). i just also hope that whenever misty finds out that Ash both had his first kiss which I would forever want Bonny to be the one to spill the beans (that kid would never be able to keep a secret) I just want to see the look on her face, as after that i doubt the writers would know what to do next; even though at this point Misty is more so Ash's big sister is nothing else.

who is too say, we could see them together with the new girl character in the gen 9 anime, i doubt they will retire Ash anytime soon, it would be very dumb for them to do so at this point in the series. With Ash not giving any real shits about becoming Alola's first ever champion, then I would say all the fans and the internet as a whole are making a mountain out of a ant hill.
